Popular Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola otherwise Naira Marley has recently reacted to the just concluded 2019 Headies Award. Recall that the Nigerian artiste wasn’t present at the event.
Naira Marley was in London at the O2 Arena where he performed at the Starboy Fest while the Headies was ongoing in Nigeria. He had one of the most outstanding stage highlight with his skillful legwork and zanku.
Naira Marley took to his twitter handle to thrown a shade at the award organizers just some hours after the Headies. Unfortunately he did not pick up any award after enjoying a massive year with hits like ‘Opotoyi’, ‘Soapy’ and many other songs.
The Marlian leader in a tweet said ‘legwork bigger than Headies 2019’ and this is an apparent diss at the award body. His close friend Zlatan after many nominations did not pick up any individual award except for ‘Best Collaboration’ with Burna Boy.
